Darnisha Taylor

Darnisha Taylor worships God with all her heart. Singing since before she could talk, Darnisha plays piano and writes music that shows her passion for Christ. Her husband, Scott Anthony Taylor, is a gifted writer and speaker as well. Their song writing collaborations are fresh with lyrical depth and musical creativity. Energy, hope and anointing compel anyone listening to dance, sing and cry when they hear the music and story of Darnisha's journey.

You can't pigeonhole Darnisha's musical style. It's a hearty mix of rock, gospel, CCM, urban contemporary, R&B, jazz and soul. She is gifted with bringing just the right blend of edge and familiarity to any event. A gifted leader, she has been celebrated for her signiture sound that transcends boundaries of gender, genre, race, and denomination.  When you experience worship with Darnisha, you encounter God's Holy presence. Darnisha's journey includes trauma. Just days after returning from her honeymoon, she drowned in a scuba diving accident. Her husband found her and brought her back to life. The full incredible story is captured in the book, "Deathgate" written by Scott Anthony Taylor. Their story has been shared all over the world and continues to comfort those walking through life-altering events.

A licensed minister for over 20 years, Darnisha has served in church plants, colleges, evangelism travel ministry, concert ministry and mega ministries alike. She enjoys teaching, speaking and leading people in worship. Titles that Darnisha adds to her resume are Executive Pastor, Minister of Worship, Vocal and Band Director and Director of Creative arts.

She has been blessed with the opportunity to travel and minister as a guest artist on a national and international stage and she loves to lead worship for large and small conferences.

Currently, Darnisha is the Executive Worship Pastor at Bay Life Church in Tampa, Florida and accepts bookings to travel as a guest worship leader, vocal artist and guest speaker.
